Description

At room temperature, the aliphatic hydrocarbon n-Hexane is a highly volatile and combustible organic chemical. n-Hexane is obtained from crude oil and appears as a colorless liquid with slightly disagreeable odor. Semiconductor grade solvents are primarily designed for the semiconductor and electronics manufacturing industries. The concentration of heavy metals in these solvents is very low, measuring to parts per billion or parts per trillion. To achieve the requisite purity, several purifications are required. Lab Alley’s n-Hexane, Electronic/Cleanroom Grade, 99.9+% is ideal for semiconductor and microprocessor fabrication and can be safely used as cleaner and etchant.
